Wanda McCrae, you're very good with your camera. You're very good at seeing an image before framing it with your camera. You're quite handy with the Rule of Thirds, knowing the difference between "busy" and varying amounts of texture. You're very good with lines: parallel and otherwise. I particularly like how you do not feel the "need" to include all of a subject: art is more important than either the subject itself or the camera's ability to snap a crisp image. Today's glut of digicams has made millions of "perfect pictures" with a near equal amount of lack of art form. I have greatly enjoyed visiting your images, praise you for thinking enough of us to tell us what we're looking at in each one and encourage you to spend quality time studying the masters. You're very good.

I will add you to my list of friends so that the few folk that come my way may trail on over to your corner of Fotki.

Wanda, so far I've enjoyed quite a few of your pix. It's after 2:30 a.m. and I need to hit the sack, but will come back soon and see your NYC pix. You show a lot of promise with your camera. The days and years ahead will bring some great returns to you.

Wow! Just stumbled on this. I always loved viewing the photos you took and wanted to see more. You have an exceptional 'eye' for seeing something unusual or beautiful in its simplicity or ordinariness across all borders - people, plants, animals, buildings, nature (have you done any food shots?) Thanks for putting this up. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favourite. I'm going to come back and check them out when I've got more time and can really enjoy them. Good luck with selling prints. Really nice pictures. I especially liked the transitional set from daytime Longwood Gardens to the nighttime shot of the trees lit up. Original and unexpected. As others have said, you have a great eye.

I take it your a cat person? I really was taken by this weeks photo of Enrique. I also took a look at your albums and you have some great photos. I wish the picture of Enrique would have done better because it certainly should have, at least in my little world.
